Patricia’s love of nature, animals and her native Western Maryland shows up in her artwork. She works primarily in acrylic and soft pastel, but has created in most forms of two-dimensional media as well as jewelry and sculpture. She is becoming well known locally and nationally as an accomplished pet portraitist and for her portraits on lamps, furniture and other functional objects. Her “Crick Pets” collection features ordinary stones from local creek beds transformed into realistic, highly detailed animals and birds. During the tour Patricia will offer hands-on workshops, seminars and demonstrations as well as original paintings, “Crick Pets,” hand-painted lamps and prints for purchase, and will happily discuss painting a portrait of your pet or other commissions.
