I have been an artist since the 1970’s and have sold internationally.  I have been fortunate enough to have been taught to produce art through expression.  The brush strokes and use of color convey the emotional feeling at the time of painting.  Therefore, it evokes an understanding and connection between art and the viewer, placing the viewer on an inward journey, focusing on a single striking moment.

I start out with several casual sketches until it becomes a solid vision that can be seen at all angles and variations.  The image then begins to come to life and I am able to develop the colors which I feel will best convey the emotions I’m feeling and incorporate them onto the canvas.

With a solid vision in mind I do a complete painting sketch.  After several layers of paint, the image comes to life with the use of color and rhythm of the brush strokes.

With subtle codes of meaning and grand, large gestures of color and abstraction, my work should baptize the viewer in waves of sound, fury and life at its messiest and most enduring.
