Lois McManus is a metalsmith creating jewelry using sterling silver, copper, brass, and bronze. Her style is a little bohemian with nature inspired textures and an earthy feel. Working the metals using techniques such as soldering, fusion, etching, and forging, she also incorporate gemstones, semiprecious stone, handmade lamp work glass, porcelain and even pebbles into many of her creations, and is continually experimenting and exploring the characteristics of copper, brass, and bronze and sterling silver. Craftsmanship is hugely important to her, and she tries to make her jewelry very comfortable and strong and able to withstand being worn (as your favorite jewelry) for years and years.
