In 2009, after 18 years of visiting this beautiful place, Reeta Khindri not only decided to move here, but also enrolled at Frostburg State as a non-traditional student to pursue a degree in art. Retta emerged in 2012 with a non-traditional degree in 3-Dimensional design and has been enjoying the added benefits that creative expression brings to ones life ever since.

Painting with the glazes is her soul dance and playing with the different chemical additives feeds her mad scientist within as she has great fun pushing the boundaries of each ( p.s. she has a bargain table for some of those). Retta creates utilitarian items- bowls, plates, cups, etc., along with sculptures, inventions, wall pieces and more using the wheel or hand building.
